The use requirements of ukca logo are extended to 2023
On August 24, 2021, the British government published the latest notice on ukca certification and mark use requirements on the official website: the period originally scheduled to no longer use the CE mark in the British market (England, Wales and Scotland) from January 1, 2022 is now extended to January 1, 2023. That is, from January 1, 2023, products entering the British market (England, Wales, Scotland) must be marked with ukca mark according to regulations. Before that, traders can still use CE mark.
When to use the ukca flag
If all of the following conditions apply, you only need to use the new ukca logo before January 1, 2023. Your product:
It's for the UK market
Covered by legislation requiring ukca marking
Mandatory third party conformity assessment is required
Conformity assessment is carried out by the British conformity assessment agency
This does not apply to existing inventory, for example, if your goods are fully manufactured, CE marked and ready to be put on the market before January 1, 2021. In these cases, your goods can still be sold in the UK with CE mark, even if covered by the certificate of conformity issued by the UK agency before January 1, 2021. These products need to be put on the market before December 31, 2022.

The ukca when you paste it into the product logo must be clearly visible and legible. If this is not possible, you must attach it to the package (if any) or accompanying documents.
Ukca logo can only be placed on the product by you as the manufacturer or your authorized representative (where permitted by relevant laws).
When you affix the ukca logo, you are fully responsible for whether your products meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.
You can only use the ukca logo to prove compliance with relevant UK laws.
You must not place any signs or signs to third parties that may misunderstand the meaning or form of ukca signs.
You must not attach other marks on the product that will affect the visibility, legibility or meaning of ukca marks.
The ukca mark cannot be placed on the product unless there are specific requirements to do so in legislation.
Products can have additional marks and markings as long as they:
1. Realize functions different from ukca mark;
2. Unlikely to be confused with ukca mark;
3. Do not reduce the legibility and visibility of ukca signs.
