Korea KC certification officially implemented KC 62368-1 standard

South Korea officially announced the implementation of KC 62368-1. According to the official announcement of Kats, South Korea KC certification standard was updated, and KC 62368-1 was officially implemented.

Safety standard for electrical products

It mainly describes the following two aspects:

1. According to the KC 62368-1 standard currently issued, Korea only accepts the third edition of IEC 62368 (IEC 62368-1:2018).

2. KC 60065, K 60950-1 and K 60950-22 have a transition period of more than one year until they are abolished on December 31, 2022.

In addition, the existing standards KC 60065, K 60950-1 and K 60950-22 can be used simultaneously before December 31, 2022.
